Scan files for viruses

I can’t directly scan files for viruses or malware. However, here’s what you can do to scan files safely:

1. Use Trusted Antivirus Software

Install and run one of the following well-known antivirus programs to scan your files:

  • Windows Defender (built-in for Windows)

  • Bitdefender

  • Kaspersky

  • Norton Antivirus

  • Avast or AVG

  • ESET NOD32

2. Use Online Virus Scanners

Upload your file to one of these reliable online scanning tools:

Note: Don’t upload confidential or sensitive documents to online scanners, as some of them may store the data for future analysis.

3. Use Command Line Tools (for Developers)

If you’re comfortable using the terminal:

  • ClamAV (Free & open-source)

    bash
    clamscan -r /path/to/file_or_directory

Let me know the platform you’re using (Windows, macOS, Linux), and I can guide you through a specific process.
