Batch tag emails with labels

To batch tag emails with labels, you can follow the steps outlined below, depending on the email platform you’re using. Below are instructions for Gmail and Outlook, the two most popular email services:

Gmail:

1. Log into your Gmail account.

2. Select Multiple Emails:

   • Use the checkboxes next to the emails you want to label.

   • If you want to select all emails on the page, click the checkbox at the top of the email list, next to the “Refresh” button. To select all emails in the folder (e.g., Inbox), click the “Select all conversations in this folder” link.

3. Click the Label Icon:

   • Once you’ve selected the emails, click on the Label icon at the top (it looks like a tag).

4. Choose or Create a Label:

   • From the dropdown list, choose an existing label, or click Create new to create a new label.

5. Apply the Label:

   • After choosing or creating the label, click Apply to tag all selected emails with the label.

Outlook:

1. Log into your Outlook account.

2. Select Emails:

   • Click the checkboxes next to the emails you want to tag.

   • Use the “Select All” checkbox to select multiple emails at once.

3. Click the Categorize Icon:

   • On the top menu, click on Categorize (represented by a colored square icon).

   • If the Categorize option isn’t visible, click on the three dots (More options) and look for Categorize in the dropdown.

4. Select or Create a Category:

   • Choose an existing category or select New Category to create one.

5. Apply the Category:

   • After selecting the category, it will be applied to all selected emails.
