Archive Google Keep notes

Archiving notes in Google Keep is a straightforward process. Here’s how to do it across different devices:

On Android or iOS (Mobile App):

  1. Open the Google Keep app on your device.

  2. Find the note you want to archive.

  3. Tap the Archive icon (a box with a downward arrow) at the bottom of the note or in the note list.

  4. The note will be moved to the Archive, which removes it from the main screen but keeps it accessible.

To view archived notes:

  • Tap the three horizontal lines (menu icon) in the top-left.

  • Select Archive to view all archived notes.

On Desktop (Web Version):

  1. Go to Google Keep.

  2. Hover over or open the note you want to archive.

  3. Click the Archive icon (bottom right of the note).

  4. The note will disappear from your main view and move to the Archive.

To access archived notes:

  • Click on “Archive” in the left sidebar menu.

Additional Tips:

  • Archived notes are still searchable and accessible.

  • To unarchive, just open the note and click/tap the Unarchive icon (same place as Archive icon).

  • Archiving is different from deleting; archived notes stay until you delete them manually.
