Archiving notes in Google Keep is a straightforward process. Here’s how to do it across different devices:
On Android or iOS (Mobile App):
-
Open the Google Keep app on your device.
-
Find the note you want to archive.
-
Tap the Archive icon (a box with a downward arrow) at the bottom of the note or in the note list.
-
The note will be moved to the Archive, which removes it from the main screen but keeps it accessible.
To view archived notes:
-
Tap the three horizontal lines (menu icon) in the top-left.
-
Select Archive to view all archived notes.
On Desktop (Web Version):
-
Go to Google Keep.
-
Hover over or open the note you want to archive.
-
Click the Archive icon (bottom right of the note).
-
The note will disappear from your main view and move to the Archive.
To access archived notes:
-
Click on “Archive” in the left sidebar menu.
Additional Tips:
-
Archived notes are still searchable and accessible.
-
To unarchive, just open the note and click/tap the Unarchive icon (same place as Archive icon).
-
Archiving is different from deleting; archived notes stay until you delete them manually.
